The corresponding bill was submitted by US senators from the Republican and Democratic parties Ron Johnson and Chris Murphy, RIA Novosti reports. According to the document, $ 1 billion should be allocated to support European energy projects. The purpose of the allocation of this money - to help Europe in the fight against the "influence of Russia". Senators believe that the provision of money will eliminate the "control" of Moscow over Europe.
