London and Berlin did not rule out the introduction of sanctions because of the cyber espionage of the GRU of Russia

Britain and Germany are considering the introduction of retaliatory measures against Russia after the exposure of the cyber espionage network of the Russian military intelligence.
“We must be ready to take action on our own or, preferably, together with our allies,” said David Lidington, head of the office of the British Prime Minister, Bloomberg.
According to the official representative of the German government, Steffen Seibert, Berlin, together with its European partners, is considering the introduction of additional sanctions against Russia.
“The German government is almost confident that the recent military attacks are behind Russian military intelligence,” said Seibert.
