Britain
and Germany are considering the introduction of retaliatory measures
against Russia after the exposure of the cyber espionage network of the
Russian military intelligence.
“We
must be ready to take action on our own or, preferably, together with
our allies,” said David Lidington, head of the office of the British
Prime Minister, Bloomberg.
According
to the official representative of the German government, Steffen
Seibert, Berlin, together with its European partners, is considering the
introduction of additional sanctions against Russia.
“The
German government is almost confident that the recent military attacks
are behind Russian military intelligence,” said Seibert.
