NATO fighters in Ukraine tested the S-300

The joint delegation of the United States and Israel secretly visited Ukraine, where they got acquainted with several samples of the most important weapons, including missiles of the S-300 air defense systems. This is stated in the publication of the Vietnamese portal Soha News.
According to the publication, Ukrainian specialists told the delegation members about the tactical and technical characteristics of the S-300 countries at their disposal and offered to send American and Israeli fighters to Ukraine, who would appreciate the capabilities of the system during the exercise.
In response to the threat of Russian air defense in Syria, the United States sent 18 fourth-generation F-15C Eagle fighters to participate in exercises in Ukraine, and Israel - several pilots who, using American aircraft, were able to test the C-300.
Separately, the publication mentions the delivery by Ukraine to the USA of a mobile radar station 36D6M1-1, the technologies of which were used in the S-300, as well as the confidence of Ukrainian specialists that the characteristics of the anti-aircraft missile systems available in Ukraine do not fundamentally differ from the parameters of the C-systems received by Syria from Russia -300PMU2.
Soha News concludes that an analysis of the capabilities of the S-300, due to its interaction with the Ukrainian side, convinced the Israeli military leadership of the invulnerability and advantage of the unobtrusive fifth-generation F-35 Lightning II fighters in a collision with Syrian S-300s.
The portal emphasizes that Moscow is unhappy with such actions of Kiev, which weaken the military capabilities of Damascus. On the other hand, the initiatives of Ukraine aimed at any opposition to Russia are not difficult to understand, since at present the first country considers the second one to be its main enemy.

American fighters F-15C Eagle first arrived on the territory of Ukraine on October 6. In Kiev and Washington, they say that the planes are involved in the international exercises Clear Sky 2018. The event is attended by nine countries, eight of which, apart from Ukraine, are members of NATO.
In the same month, Israeli Minister of Regional Cooperation, Tsakhi Hanegbi, noted that the S-300 capabilities have long been taken into account by Israel in strategic planning.
At the same time, Russia sent four S-300 launchers to Syria. The delivery decision was made after an incident that occurred in September, when a Russian Il-20 reconnaissance aircraft hit a missile of the Syrian C-200 missile that was tracking the Israeli F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter. Russia believes that the S-300 will strengthen the Syrian defense.
Three-coordinate radar station centimeter range 36D6M1-1 is designed to detect, recognize and track air targets at medium and low altitudes in conditions of intensive use of active and passive interference by the enemy. The manufacturer of the radar 36D6M1-1 is the Ukrainian research and production complex Iskra. The latest modernization of the station, sent in December 2017 to the USA, makes it possible to detect small targets. The delivery was opposed by the “Innovative Technologies Company”, which, according to the Ukrainian side, represents Russian interests.
