Hussite Yemeni rebels destroyed the M1A2S Abrams ("Abrams") tank of the armed forces of Saudi Arabia. The video of the liquidation of the machine was published in the Yemen Observer microblog on Twitter.The video captured how the Hussites fired at a tank that was bombarding the rebels without infantry support. It clarifies that during the hostilities the tank was hit, its crew members were able to get out and escape.
It is noted that the captured Abrams rebels burned.
M1 Abrams is the main battle tank of the United States. It is in service with a number of countries, including Saudi Arabia.
Earlier, Lieutenant-General Viktor Lizvinsky, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Ground Forces for Armaments, spoke about the negative US experience on Abrams M1, when during the military operation "Desert Storm" they "killed almost all the engines."
