According to the American official, the nuclear arsenal of the People’s Republic of China is threatened not only by the United States, but also by Russia, since Chinese medium-range missiles are capable of reaching its central regions. Responding to questions from Reuters, Bolton added that he considers the Treaty on the Elimination of Medium-Range and Shorter-Range Missiles to be obsolete from the relics of the Cold War.
