According to the Russian ambassador to Minsk, Mikhail Babich, any military attack on the fraternal republic will be regarded as hostile actions against the Russian Federation.
Babich emphasized that Russia and Belarus are members of the Union State, both countries pursue a common military policy ensuring the security of our citizens.


“A very important moment for our Belarusian partners, and for those who are plotting something: an attack on Belarus - any - will be militarily regarded as an attack on Russia with all the ensuing consequences”, - quotes the media statement of the Russian diplomat.
We have absolute mutual understanding with our Belarusian partners, we have a regional grouping of troops and forces, all the components that are necessary both for defense and for retaliatory attack are formed, ”the Russian ambassador to Belarus said.
According to the diplomat, there is nothing good in such a confrontation. However, Babich hurried to reassure his Belarusian colleagues, noting that Minsk can be calm - since the fraternal people are absolutely protected. Russia and Belarus together guarantee the safety of citizens of two states.
