US coalition planes in Syria, by mistake, bombed their own allies

On Wednesday, October 17, two F-15 fighters from the coalition forces led by the United States bombed the Kurds in the province of Deir ez-Zor in Syria. As a result of the attack, six people died, and another 15 soldiers were seriously injured.
The mistake was made “because of the unprofessional actions of the US Air Force,” reports RIA “Novosti”, citing a source. The Kurdish formation of the Syrian democratic forces at the time of the strike, writes TV channel 360, attacked ISIS (a terrorist group banned in Russia). The incident, according to the source, disrupted an attempt to attack and led to a massive desertion from the occupied VTS area, the newspaper Gazeta.ru notes.
Earlier, the Syrian Foreign Ministry said that the international coalition led by the United States provided direct military support to terrorists in the country. On October 13, Syrian media reported that the coalition inflicted airstrikes using white phosphorus in the city of Hajin, 110 kilometers from the center of Deir ez-Zor province.
