US military expressed confidence in the imminent start of a large-scale war

Half of the US military believes that the United States will soon be drawn into large-scale military operations. This is evidenced by data from a survey conducted by the publication of the Military Times among the US military.

About 46% of those surveyed said that in 2019 the United States would be involved in a new, serious war. This figure, according to the publication, increased by 5% compared with a similar survey conducted in September 2017.
Another 50% of respondents believe that the country will not start a serious armed conflict next year. In the autumn of last year, two thirds of the respondents favored this development.

The main enemies of the United States, according to the American military, are Russia and China. 71% of the military men called Russia the main enemy, which is 18% more than in 2017. In turn, 69% of respondents called China the main enemy (24% more than last year).
