US hopes to undermine the Russian economy with a new arms race

The US plan for a new arms race is based on America’s “holy faith” in the inability of the Russian economy to compete on an equal footing. This is not about linking the Russian Federation to the US dollar and payment systems, which are spoken about by many in Russia and the world, but about calculating in accordance with the rules and parameters of a possible race in the United States, Kedmi specified in the program "Sunday Evening with Vladimir Solovyov."
The presenter admitted that Russia is indeed hardly able to withstand an economic military confrontation with the United States if it continues to “sit” on the dollar at the current level. Any country, Solovyov noted, has no chance of success in an arms race against a potential enemy if its economy depends on it. But Kedmi objected that the matter concerns precisely the US notions of Russia, based on "convenient" for the American presentation of estimates from the Russian Federation.
The United States, Kedmi stressed, does not understand one fundamental aspect of rivalry with Russia when they assess the strength of its economy. “They don’t understand what Russia can stand. And they don’t understand what your president said, what he stressed repeatedly. They talk about mirror shots, and so on. But Russia is preparing an asymmetric strike,” the Israeli spokesman said.
Earlier, Kedmi said that the words of Russian President Vladimir Putin about a nuclear retaliatory strike probably signify Russia's ability to launch such missiles at the aggressor that reach its territory earlier than the missiles already aimed at the Russian Federation. For this reason, the analyst believes, the leadership of the Russian Federation speaks of a forward, rather than a preventive strike with a strategic weapon.
