Earlier, The New York Times reported that the first bomb was found by a specialist who was checking mail coming to the Clinton address, which is under the protection of the US Secret Service. According to the source of the publication, the device is similar to the one that was found earlier near the house of George Soros.
On October 23, The New York Times reported the discovery of an allegedly explosive device in the home of George Soros, the founder and head of the Soros Fund Management hedge fund in Bedford, located in Westchester County, New York. The FBI later confirmed that the financier was not at home at that moment. According to sources in The New York Times, the bomb was a piece of pipe about 15 cm long, filled with gunpowder and fitted with a detonator. There were no casualties, the device was subsequently destroyed by sappers.
